Welcome to the Kingsmill Sharks 2008 swim team! There are lots of
reasons to be excited about the upcoming summer swim season and hope you
are too. The entire staff is looking forward to a fun and productive
season.
Swimming is a participation sport. We are fortunate that VPSU gives
every child on the team an opportunity to swim at every dual meet. I
feel strongly that swimmers will get out of the sport the amount they
put into it. Practice attendance is valuable in creating bonds with
teammates as well as gaining confidence and proficiency in the water.
This summer we have a great coaching staff, and I encourage everyone to
attend practice to maximize the benefits of our experience and
knowledge.
I look forward to working with all swimmers and parents this summer.

A Message from our President
May 2008
Hopefully you are all looking forward to another exciting and
fun-filled summer swim season. Last year it was our goal to have
100% parent and swimmer participation. Well, I can proudly say that we
met our goal and I look forward to achieving that milestone again and
taking our team to exciting new heights in 2008. Whether you are
the parent of a 5 year old child who is just learning to love the
water or a parent who has spent years getting splashed at poolside
during the summer months, we want you to be a part of the Sharks.
Please don't hesitate to
email me with any question or suggestions that come up throughout the
season. I hope you all take the time to come to the Shark Reef this
season.
